Recruiting & HR Business Partner

This HR Business Partner and recruiting role supports a business division, including the Hacobu strategy (consulting) area. The position partners with business leaders to address organizational issues and acquire talent needed for business growth.

Recruiting responsibilities include defining hiring targets, channels, and KPIs; preparing job descriptions and sourcing messages; planning recruitment communications; designing interviews and training interviewers; and coordinating onboarding and retention follow-up after employees join.

As an HRBP, the role works with the division head to formulate and help execute organizational strategy and workforce plans. It uses engagement data to drive improvement actions, coordinates workforce planning, transfers, and placements with the business, analyzes organizational issues, and incorporates the findings into HR measures. It also plans and operates training and talent-development programs.

Hacobu is moving into a more mature organizational phase with approximately 220 employees. The role works with the CoE and may eventually shift toward CoE responsibilities, including company-wide HR system design, talent development and training planning, and people analytics. This provides a career path for deepening HR expertise in those areas.

The stated work locations are the Tokyo headquarters in Minato, Tokyo, and other company-designated locations such as home. The location scope may be the headquarters or another location designated by the company. The scope of duties may change to duties designated by the company.
