About this role
This role joins the Business Promotion Department within the Insurer Support Business Division. It is intended for a future management candidate who will eventually lead the business planning group for services provided to health insurance societies and mutual aid associations.
The role will develop integrated medium-term business strategies and plans, manage financial figures and budgets versus actual results, and design pricing structures based on account volume and account value. Responsibilities include managing product-level profit and loss, building dashboards, linking KPIs to field activity, and redesigning processes from sales through delivery and billing to reduce revenue leakage and excessive workload. The role will also develop new revenue models, including higher unit prices, external funding for disease awareness, and employer budget acquisition, focusing on scaling existing initiatives from one to ten.
During onboarding, the position may primarily support product and sales marketing in the same department. This can include organized information delivery and lead generation for existing and prospective customers through digital channels, seminars, direct mail, inside sales, and industry associations. Other activities include planning, operating, and measuring annual promotion plans by product and channel; designing sales actions, tracking activities, identifying bottlenecks, and providing feedback to product teams; and consolidating customer-contact information to visualize customer status and coordinate with sales. The scope is expected to expand gradually into business planning, financial and budget management, and company-wide projects.
Required qualifications include experience in business planning, corporate planning, or BizOps at an operating company or consulting firm, including business strategy or business-plan development; experience designing and managing KPIs through monitoring and PDCA; experience driving projects across multiple departments; structured, numerically oriented thinking; and data analysis with Excel or spreadsheets, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, as well as presentation-material creation with PowerPoint. Candidates must be comfortable combining B2B marketing or sales promotion work during onboarding.
Preferred experience includes P&L responsibility or product-level P&L management in a SaaS business, operational design from sales through delivery and billing, planning and operation of B2B marketing or sales promotion, CRM or SFA implementation and use such as Salesforce, dashboard development, healthcare or insurance industry knowledge, and sales-organization management.
