As business diversification and management complexity increase, the company is strengthening its corporate PR and IR function and is hiring a manager candidate to lead it. Working closely with executives, management departments, and business unit heads, this person will drive corporate PR and IR practice end to end for a small team, from strategy through execution. PR responsibilities include formulating and driving PR/IR strategy, building an annual and mid-to-long-term PR roadmap with executives, planning and executing press releases, research, and PR events for corporate and select new businesses, building relationships with key media and developing new ones, arranging executive interviews and press inquiries, and handling crisis-management PR for various issues and incidents. IR responsibilities include planning and running earnings announcements and IR events, handling timely disclosure, producing earnings and IR materials, and communicating with institutional investors, individual investors, and securities analysts. Employment is full-time, based in Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
