Crisis and Confidentiality Management Assistant Manager, Process Improvement

The role is part of the team that promotes the safe and smooth execution of diverse proof-of-concept (PoC) activities in Woven City. Woven City is described as a test course for creating and testing different forms of mobility. Inventors, residents, and visitors test products and services while living in a city where people, mobility, and social infrastructure are connected.

The Assistant Manager serves as the company-wide secretariat for crisis management and confidentiality management. The role leads the design, operation, and process improvement of a robust governance structure. This work is intended to protect the physical safety of the city and important information assets while avoiding a reduction in the speed of PoC activities.

Responsibilities include advancing governance and risk-management practices for the diverse activities conducted in Woven City. The role also develops the organization-wide structures, processes, and tools needed for the company to respond as one when an event occurs that could affect company management.

Process improvement, referred to in the posting as Kaizen, is a central part of the position. The stated work covers crisis management, confidentiality management, governance, risk management, preparation for crisis response, and improvement of related processes. The stated work location is Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
