Inside Sales
GenAI
Plan strategic outbound campaigns for enterprise accounts, use public information and generative AI to form hypotheses, engage decision-makers, and create DX project pipelines with field sales.
This BDR role belongs to the ERP Sales headquarters within the Business Segment. The team provides solution sales across accounting and finance products and addresses business issues for mid-sized and larger customers. The BDR organization is being newly established and strengthened to create enterprise DX projects through strategic outbound activity rather than simply processing inbound leads.
The role targets Tier 1 companies with 1,000 or more employees. Working with marketing and field sales, the BDR plans and executes account-specific engagement scenarios. Responsibilities include studying public information such as medium-term management plans and using generative AI and investor-relations information to develop multiple hypotheses about operational and management issues. The role then designs an approach from several perspectives and engages selected decision-makers through phone calls, AI-assisted one-to-one emails, letters, and other channels.
The BDR maps each organization to identify decision routes and approvers, contacts several stakeholders across areas such as accounting and information systems, and gathers and records internal information. The role identifies needs that may involve multiple products or company-wide and group-wide deployment, then passes qualified opportunities to field sales. It also contributes to team productivity by promoting AI use for one-to-one email creation and systematizing messaging templates for competitive replacement. Account plans are developed and carried out jointly with field sales.
Required qualifications are at least two years of practical inside-sales experience and experience independently designing and executing a PDCA cycle toward targets. Desired experience includes outbound sales for enterprise SaaS customers with 1,000 or more employees; SaaS sales in back-office areas such as ERP, accounting, human resources and labor management, or workflow; account approaches considering cross-selling and multiple-product proposals; and joint account-plan development and execution with field sales.
The position is regular full-time employment in Minato, Tokyo. Annual compensation is stated as JPY 5,508,000 to JPY 7,500,000, with monthly pay of JPY 459,000 to JPY 625,000. The monthly amount includes fixed allowances for 45 hours of scheduled and statutory overtime and 40 hours of late-night work. Overtime beyond the included amount is paid separately. The probationary period is three months from the start date, with no change in conditions during probation.
Work uses a flextime system with eight standard working hours and a 60-minute break. Flexible hours are 7:00 to 22:00, with core-time schedules listed as either 10:00 to 15:00 or 9:30 to 14:30. Additional work beyond the prescribed hours may occur. The work style is hybrid: attendance at the office is generally required two days per week, with three or more days recommended, and office days vary by team.
Benefits include social insurance, a nearby-housing allowance, a nearby-relocation payment, a rent payroll-deduction program, health and gynecological examinations, influenza vaccination, book-purchase assistance, a defined-contribution pension, an employee stock ownership plan, and discounts for specified contracted rental, housekeeping, babysitting, and online English-conversation services. Compensation is reviewed twice yearly, and a performance-based bonus is paid separately and varies with business results. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, annual paid leave, three summer days, two winter days, and year-end and New Year leave from December 31 through January 3. Selection may include a casual interview or document screening, followed by first, second, and final selections, with a possible reference check before or after interviews.
