About this role
This full-time Enterprise Sales position is dedicated to new-business development for Pro-One, a vertical SaaS product serving the short-term construction market. The role is being added as the enterprise sales organization expands and lead volume increases after inside-sales activities were brought in-house.
Responsibilities include creating account strategies and sales plans for enterprise companies, responding to leads passed from inside sales, identifying customer issues, conducting demonstrations, preparing proposals, negotiating and closing new contracts. The salesperson will build relationships and reach agreement with multiple stakeholders, including executives and decision-makers. The role also covers leading the full sales process, managing opportunities, analyzing competitors, preparing reports, and handling RFI, RFP and proof-of-concept proposals.
Proposal design and document preparation are performed with presales and customer success teams. The position will help form deal-specific teams with presales, customer success and product members, and can contribute to the future design and operating processes of the enterprise sales organization, including sales engineering and presales functions. Customer insights from sales discussions are also shared with the product team.
Required qualifications are at least three years of B2B corporate sales experience, experience proposing to enterprise companies with 1,000 or more employees, and practical experience structuring customer issues and developing proposals for complex requirements. The posting also requires experience driving projects with internal stakeholders such as customer success, product and presales, plus basic skills with Salesforce, Hubspot, Notion or Slack. Suitability and approach are valued alongside the skill set.
Preferred experience includes enterprise sales for SaaS or cloud businesses, proposals for business software covering estimates, construction management or operational efficiency, RFI or RFP work, discussions with executive decision-makers, proposals involving annual ARR of at least JPY 100 million, and large projects spanning multiple departments. Understanding and practical use of MEDDIC, SPIN, BANT or SSM are also welcomed. The stated working qualities include adapting to change, structuring problems independently, developing actions, following through on goals, approaching situations positively, and taking ownership in a way that earns team trust.
The product combines functions for sales, construction management and back-office operations in an all-in-one SaaS system. Users can customize the system within the SaaS without individual custom development. The position is based in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. It is full-time with a flextime system and an 11:00–16:00 core time; a 60-minute break is taken during working hours. The workplace is smoke-free.
Annual compensation is JPY 5.5–12 million. The stated components are a basic salary of JPY 349,925–763,414 and a duty allowance of JPY 108,451–236,601, with performance-based incentives paid separately. The duty allowance covers 40 hours of fixed overtime, and additional overtime pay is provided for work beyond 40 hours. The final annual salary considers skills, experience and current compensation.
Benefits and conditions include social insurance, paid leave granted upon joining, year-end and New Year leave from December 29 to January 3, bereavement leave, maternity, childcare and nursing-care leave, commuting expenses up to JPY 50,000 per month, condolence payments, regular health checks, a company computer, welcome lunches and inter-team meal subsidies, a 20% cashback program for using MeetsMore, babysitter discounts and an office convenience store.
