About this role

The role leads global equity financing for businesses including LIMEX, resource circulation, and carbon capture and utilization. Responsibilities cover selecting and approaching domestic and international institutional investors, operating companies, VC and PE funds, and other investor candidates, then managing negotiations through contract execution and funding.

The position develops outreach strategies, delivers pitches and handles Q&A in English and Japanese, and builds investor networks. It also creates equity stories and proposal materials that present sustainability and the company’s future through global frameworks such as ESG and impact investing.

The role manages term-sheet negotiations, due diligence, contract execution, and project management through receipt of funds. It also designs and executes flexible, customized financing schemes rather than relying only on established structures.

Working with the CFO and CEO, the successful candidate contributes to medium- and long-term capital policy, IPO preparation, and investor-relations and disclosure strategy. The position offers responsibility for large-scale transactions and exposure to institutional and individual investor funding, as well as sustainable finance and impact-investment practices.

Applicants should have professional experience in one of the following areas: at least approximately three years in an investment bank or investment fund; sales experience in private banking, foreign-owned life insurance, or financial products for high-net-worth individuals; or at least approximately two years in a consulting firm or similar organization. Business-level English is welcomed. Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, or legal matters, M&A advisory or execution, due diligence, and ESG or sustainable finance is also welcomed.

The position is based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Working hours are 9:00–18:00, including a 60-minute break. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and December 30 through January 3, with 120 annual holidays. The employment type is full-time. Annual compensation is determined according to experience, skills, and potential, with two salary reviews per year.
