The manager will also build relationships with recruitment agencies and analyze market and competitor trends to develop new hiring initiatives.
The position manages and develops a recruiting team of approximately five people. Basic knowledge of Japanese labor regulations, labor-related rules, and HR systems, as well as experience operating job-based or comparable HR systems, is required. The role also requires responsive communication, coordination across multiple simultaneous projects, and decision-making in uncertain environments.
Native-level Japanese and at least beginner-level English are required. Experience using Slack or Teams, Microsoft Office or Google applications, and hosting online meetings with Teams or Zoom is required; experience using AI for work is a plus. Experience with mid-career hiring, startup or venture-company recruiting, specialist hiring, direct recruiting, recruitment branding, global or foreign-national hiring, and recruiting in deep tech, energy, manufacturing, or research and development environments is welcomed.
