Business Operations / Internal Project Manager

This position supports the operation and expansion of Recipe Challenge, a service that enables manufacturers and retailers to conduct direct marketing to users. The service uses first-party data such as users’ past purchase information and location data for detailed targeting.

The role designs and improves the business processes and operations used to direct and deliver promotional projects won by the sales team. It reviews the team’s overall workflow, identifies and organizes structural issues, and designs and advances a roadmap for improvement. The role coordinates process reform across sales, the receipt-checking team, sales administration, product development, and media teams.

As a prospective team leader, the person manages member tasks, supports member development, and improves operations. Initial onboarding work is intended to build understanding of the domain and team. This includes learning existing operations such as submission and input work, performance simulations, and placement progress management. It also includes managing assistant staff attendance and performance, as well as managing inquiries about client requests received through sales.

The position is described as a BizOps role for someone who wants to take responsibility for a broad range of internal IT and AI projects across different areas, rather than focusing only on specialized BizOps expertise. The work is primarily project-based and does not consist of routine or recurring duties. The hiring focus is on the ability to drive and advance projects.
