This full-time position is the first member of freee’s BPaaS professional services team. The role supports mid-sized customers using freee HR and Labor by advising on operational improvements and proposing improvements beyond freee products where appropriate.
The consultant works directly with customers to understand their current back-office operations, identify issues, recommend improvements, and support implementation. Responsibilities also include designing the internal operations team, optimizing how it operates, standardizing and systematizing the service delivery model and processes, and collaborating with product development and customer success teams to create customer value.
The position is based in the launch phase of a new service combining SaaS and BPO. The successful candidate will help establish the team and service foundation, including how the service is designed and delivered and how its value proposition is structured. The work involves addressing customer issues from both business and technology perspectives through freee’s products and other available assets.
Required experience includes at least three years of practical experience in business improvement consulting; experience designing operations and defining requirements for a back-office BPO implementation; experience building and maintaining client relationships; and project management experience. Candidates should be able to understand customers’ operational issues and resolve them, be willing to build new teams and processes, act independently, and communicate effectively while establishing trust with clients.
Preferred qualifications include experience designing customer success operations, managing customer support operations, supporting the implementation and use of SaaS products, knowledge or experience in accounting or human resources and labor operations, experience launching or operating BPO services, and knowledge of methods for visualizing and standardizing business processes.
