The Privacy Specialist sits within the privacy team and reports to the Privacy Manager. The role supports privacy-aware design and operations across the organization’s products, services and business activities, working with project managers, business analysts, legal, security, engineering, HR and communications stakeholders.
Day-to-day work includes responding to business and engineering consultations, identifying applicable data-protection obligations, assessing privacy risks and defining response measures. The specialist leads privacy projects such as Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), data mapping and privacy-notice updates; maintains documentation; develops and operates privacy programs, policies and procedures; reviews Data Processing Agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses; and supports data-breach response and group-wide privacy controls.
Applicants must have strong English communication skills, at least two years of practical experience in privacy or a related field such as compliance, data governance or information security, and an understanding of privacy laws, regulations, internal policies and industry standards. They must also be able to explain privacy matters clearly, collaborate with diverse stakeholders and independently conduct Privacy by Design reviews.
