This hybrid role is based in Japan and joins the APAC Supply Chain team. The initial focus is Equipment Return Support (ERS) for the Japan, Australia and New Zealand markets, with the opportunity to expand into Vendor Management support.
The specialist owns key equipment-return metrics and coordinates and tracks hardware returns. Responsibilities include monitoring billing accuracy, improving hardware collection performance, responding to equipment-return questions from internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining relationships with external clients. The role works with Customer Support, Sales, Supply Chain and other internal teams, and oversees on-site or third-party vendor activities against key performance indicators.
Additional responsibilities include supporting vendor performance tracking, resolving operational issues, contributing to continuous improvement, assisting with vendor business reviews, analyzing data and preparing performance insights. The specialist partners with regional supply chain and procurement teams to align vendor services with operational and cost objectives, documents standard processes and best practices, and supports regional initiatives related to transformation, sustainability and service excellence.
Applicants need at least four years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, customer service or a related field.
