WELL Certification Consulting Services

This role provides consulting services to help companies and building projects obtain WELL Building Standard certification, a health-focused building standard originating in the United States. The work supports office and architectural projects designed to improve employee health, comfort, productivity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include hearing client concerns and conducting investigations, then developing certification strategies and implementation plans. The role manages projects from planning through execution while coordinating with clients, certification organizations, design firms, and construction-related stakeholders. It also provides design and technical support, including presenting design conditions based on WELL requirements, reviewing drawings, and evaluating performance after completion.

Required experience includes construction management or project management in architecture, interiors, or building equipment; office consulting or design experience; or consulting experience related to LEED certification. The posting also describes a need for people who can communicate with clients with interest and without undue stress, proactively collect necessary information from internal and external stakeholders, act toward problem solving, and advance work collaboratively rather than individually.

The assigned organization is the Well-Being Business Development Office within the Solution Engineering Division. The organization was established in 2020 and supports WELL certification acquisition and the creation of well-being-oriented spaces. The position may also provide opportunities to plan and develop new services and products based on customer issues. Expected professional development includes building expertise in architecture, workplaces, and well-being through WELL consulting, followed by possible work in workplace consulting or the planning and development of spatial services and product solutions.

The position is full-time and based in the Shiodome area of Minato, Tokyo. Working hours are 9:00 to 17:30, with a flextime system and standard working time of 7 hours 45 minutes per day. Remote work is available. The annual holiday total is approximately 126 days, with paid annual leave of up to 25 days per year and various other holidays.
