About this role

This role belongs to PLAID ALPHA, a consulting organization that supports companies in addressing business challenges through customer experience value. The position develops and delivers AI-based solutions for complex issues involving management decisions, customer experience, and employee experience.

Day-to-day work includes organizing a client’s business and operational challenges, defining themes for AI use, and developing solution concepts, proposals, and requirements. The role brings together internal and external specialists and partners, leads projects through proof of concept, production implementation, operational adoption, and outcome creation, and takes responsibility for delivery. It also involves turning knowledge gained from projects into reusable approaches, improving offerings, and increasing repeatability. Depending on experience, the person may lead projects or initially serve as a core delivery member while gradually expanding into project management.

The work uses customer-owned first-party data, data collected through KARTE, and open data. Example themes include using Context Lake to support management decision-making, visualizing users with high future lifetime value, and supporting decisions across customers, operations, and initiatives. Customer experience work may include supporting AI Agent development for end users, AIO and LLMO initiatives, improving experiences through Voice of the Customer data, and developing models for individual challenges. Employee experience work may include supporting AI Agent development for employees, data preparation and utilization, productivity improvements using MCP, and designing and implementing AI-native work experiences.

The role is not limited to a predetermined solution. It requires selecting and shaping an appropriate approach for each client while working across business, data, marketing, and technology.

The work location is the head office in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The stated working arrangement is hybrid, combining office attendance and remote work. The business side currently attends the office in principle three days per week, and the company may request a certain number of office days based on company and team circumstances.
