Corporate Development Manager

Money Forward is hiring a Corporate Development Manager for the team that handles investor relations, finance, fundraising, M&A and investments, budgeting and budget-versus-actual management. The company has made more than ten acquisitions since its 2017 listing and is moving toward an AI-driven platform, so its financial strategy and management controls are being upgraded.

Working closely with the chief corporate development officer, the CFO and business heads, the person takes on parts of this work according to experience: designing the company-wide budget process tied to the mid-term plan, analysing results to identify issues and advising division heads, building relations with banks and securities firms and leading debt and equity financing, managing group cash flow and long-term funding simulations, and writing investor and analyst presentation material. The role also leads cross-department projects such as post-merger integration and investment decisions, and automates finance planning work.
