Driver Recruiter

This recruiter role supports the launch and expansion of Toranomon Transportation, a Tokyo-area mobility operation connecting Haneda and central Tokyo. The position works closely with operating offices and leadership, focusing on building the driver workforce needed for the business to run. It moves candidates from application through hiring while helping maintain a stable process at a target scale of about 50 hires per month.

Day to day, the recruiter contacts applicants, coordinates and conducts interviews, checks application documents, tracks the application-to-interview-to-decision funnel, and coordinates with office managers and executives. The role also improves candidate communication using LINE, SMS, phone, and email, supports recruiting briefings and events, and proposes operational improvements. Google Sheets is used for basic data management. Candidates must have at least three years of in-house mid-career recruiting, candidate or recruiter-side agency work in the taxi or automotive industry, or sales experience in the taxi industry. Basic Google Sheets operation, the ability to identify and act on issues in a changing environment, and flexible communication with internal and external stakeholders are also required.
