Digital Talent Development and Organizational Development Consultant

The consultant supports clients facing talent and organizational challenges in AI, DX, data utilization, and other digital fields. Responsibilities cover the full process from hearing requirements and assessing current human-resource management to proposing strategies and supporting training delivery.

Core work includes consulting on AI-related organizational development, examining possibilities for AI talent development, planning and proposing AI talent-development strategies, supporting delivery, developing organizational strategies, defining required talent and skills, creating development roadmaps, and designing and implementing development measures. The scope and process assigned may be discussed according to experience, preferences, and suitability.

Applicants must have a basic understanding of AI, DX, data utilization, or another digital field, and must meet at least one of the following: three or more years of consulting experience at a strategy, organizational-development, or other consulting firm; or three or more years of talent-development and organizational-development experience in a digital business function at an operating company. Preferred qualifications include strong business communication skills in facilitation, presentation, and negotiation; strong logical thinking; experience delivering AI, DX, data-utilization, or other digital projects; experience identifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing management or business issues with executives or business-unit heads at large companies; and at least one promotion in a strategy or general consulting firm.

The role works in the context of AVILEN’s AI solution business, which provides DX and AI talent-development products, DX and AI consulting services, AI product development, and support for organizational development. Client support is provided by teams combining consultants, data scientists, engineers, and project managers. The company’s services include AI software, organizational and talent development, and AI strategy support.

This is a full-time position with a six-month probationary period from the start date, under the company’s employment rules, with no change to salary or benefits during probation. Annual compensation is determined based on experience, ability, and previous salary, with performance-based bonuses paid twice a year. Working hours use a super-flex system from 5:00 to 22:00 with no core time and eight scheduled hours per day. The workplace is in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and remote work is possible. Case and final interviews are generally conducted in person. Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, five days of year-end and New Year leave, three freely scheduled summer-leave days between July and September, and other company-designated days.
