Responsibilities include market and competitor research, identifying customer needs, and planning new product proposals; evaluating existing products and business processes and proposing improvements; drafting policy terms and contract provisions; preparing regulatory approval applications and negotiating with the Financial Services Agency; creating and reviewing product brochures and sales materials; planning sales promotion strategies and sales plans; coordinating with sales, systems development, administration, and claims departments; and leading internal projects.
Required: experience in product planning or development for auto insurance or other new insurance products, along with problem-solving, proposal, and communication skills. Preferred: experience negotiating product approvals with the Financial Services Agency.
