About this role

The Product Marketing Manager will lead marketing for Databeat, an advertising-data integration platform. The scope covers go-to-market planning, lead acquisition, and activities intended to maximize product value. Day-to-day work includes analyzing the market, competitors, customers, lost new-business opportunities, and existing-customer cancellation or usage issues to shape GTM plans based on trends in digital advertising and data integration.

The role works with product managers and the development team to define feature additions, pricing structures, optional offerings, and a development roadmap based on market needs. It also turns product value into customer-facing materials, including case studies and sales collateral, and delivers those materials and related input to Sales and Customer Success. For feature changes and new releases, the manager leads the process of testing hypotheses about the value to be delivered.

Lead-generation and content work includes operating email newsletters, planning and producing white papers, and building download landing pages and workflows in HubSpot. Event and public-relations responsibilities include planning webinars for target audiences, speaking at them, attracting attendees, following up afterward, and preparing press releases such as for PR TIMES. Performance work includes using GA4 and various web advertisements, monitoring KPIs and budget-plan progress, and making improvements.

Cross-functional coordination includes regular meetings with Sales and Customer Success to gather field information and feed it back into marketing initiatives. The role also coordinates with advertising agencies and partner companies supporting events or direct-mail activities, and pursues synergies with other PLAID Group products such as KARTE.

The position is based at GINZA SIX 10F, 6-10-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, with a hybrid arrangement combining office and remote work. Depending on company and team circumstances, a certain number of office days may be requested; the current general practice for the business side is three office days per week. The stated smoking-control measure is a generally non-smoking indoor environment, with a smoking room in the building.
