The role is assigned to the Collateral Management Section within the Global Markets Solutions Department. Daily responsibilities include collateral management administration for over-the-counter and listed derivatives, securities lending, and repo transactions.

The position also involves carrying out projects related to new products and changes in systems or regulations. This includes building collateral management systems and workflows and improving operational efficiency.

Required experience includes practical experience in collateral management and experience in middle-office work related to derivatives. Basic programming skills are welcomed. The position requires teamwork, communication ability, accurate and prompt administrative processing, and the initiative to identify and solve issues.

Because the work involves many related departments, transfers to front-office departments may be possible depending on the employee’s ability and motivation. This is a full-time permanent position in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Working hours are 8:40 to 17:10, with a one-hour break and occasional overtime. Holidays include a five-day workweek with Saturdays and Sundays off, public holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays. Annual paid leave is 17 to 23 days, prorated for employees joining during the year. Hourly annual leave, nursing leave, and childcare leave systems are also stated. Smoking is prohibited during working hours. The scope of possible changes includes company-designated duties and company-designated work locations, including places where telework is performed.
