About this role

The CHRO will lead people and organization strategy together with TBM’s executives and department heads as the company scales its carbon solutions and sustainability businesses. The role is responsible for designing and executing organization strategy from the desired business outcomes backward.

Responsibilities include developing overall workforce plans for experienced and new-graduate hiring, setting hiring strategies and channels for individual positions, and executing referral and direct-recruiting programs. The role will also advance the TBM Compass culture, employee engagement, career development, training, and talent management.

The CHRO will design and operate human-resources systems, including evaluation and compensation programs, and will oversee other HR planning,制度 design, and labor-management administration. The position is expected to work with executives and business leaders on hiring strategy, headcount planning, personnel-cost design, decision-making processes, and organization capability.

Required experience includes management experience in recruiting within a startup, manufacturing, IT, or major venture-company environment; experience planning and executing hiring strategies with executives or department heads; experience designing referral and direct-recruiting programs; and experience developing and promoting a talent strategy from an HR perspective to support business growth.

Preferred experience includes linking HR strategy directly to business strategy with top management, rapidly hiring senior or scarce talent through direct and referral channels, global recruiting or talent acquisition for overseas locations, operating evaluation and compensation systems for ambitious goals, and updating an organization’s operating model.

The company is a deep-tech startup developing materials and resource-circulation businesses, including LIMEX, carbon recycling, and recycled materials. The role is based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Working hours are 9:00–18:00 with a 60-minute break. The position is full-time with a six-month probationary period. Annual compensation is ¥6.5 million to ¥15 million, determined according to experience and ability.
