AI Agent Business Development Lead Candidate

This role leads business development and customer delivery for Kurashiru AI OS, an AI-agent service for the food distribution industry, including manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. The service addresses operational work outside core systems that still relies on fax, paper and individual judgment. It uses AI-OCR, LLMs and AI agents to structure unstructured data and automate business processes.

The current business is in a 0-to-1 phase, with multiple proof-of-concept projects underway mainly with food and beverage manufacturers. The business plans to expand to consumer goods manufacturers in areas such as daily necessities and cosmetics, and later to wholesalers and retailers. The supported business processes will also broaden over time.

The successful candidate owns customer implementation projects from initial design through adoption. Responsibilities include breaking down customer workflows, identifying which activities should be addressed with AI, and deciding product priorities. Using information gathered directly from customers, the candidate works with the CTO and engineers to plan product enhancements and the product roadmap.

The role also leads customer meetings and designs and drives proof-of-concept projects in collaboration with engineers. Results are presented to customer executives to support decisions about full implementation. Knowledge from individual projects is organized into proposal processes, business-analysis templates and KPI sets, then developed into repeatable approaches that can be applied across industries and job functions.

As the first member in this function, the candidate is expected to become a core contributor to establishing and expanding the delivery organization. In the future, the role is expected to take over proof-of-concept design, project management and pattern-building functions currently handled by other team members, as well as contribute to hiring and member management.

The core team currently has fewer than ten members. The role works closely with the CEO and CTO on business and organizational decisions, while BizDev and engineering members discuss customer and technical matters as peers. The company is also redesigning its own management operations around AI, providing an internal setting in which the service is used and evaluated.
