Marketing Leader / Prospective Head of Marketing

This role leads marketing for うさポ, a newly launched app in dely's purchasing business. Users earn in-app coins based on movement distance, elapsed time, and game play. The coins can be exchanged for points from other companies, digital gifts, and electronic money. The company has continued investing in user acquisition as its purchasing business has recorded the highest recent quarterly growth among its business areas.

The main responsibility is to expand acquisition beyond improvements to existing advertising operations. The role sets the user-acquisition strategy for the app, determines which installation-advertising channels to use and how much to invest in each, reviews performance, and adjusts the allocation. Dedicated marketing staff handle day-to-day media operations, allowing this position to focus on investment decisions and designing the next initiatives.

The role also plans and executes additional acquisition measures, including influencer use, alliances with other companies, and offline initiatives. The person in this position is expected to negotiate with external companies and frequently participate directly in execution rather than only overseeing the work.

Another responsibility is to design mechanisms for referral traffic to partners and for activating in-app content so that marketing contributes to revenue creation. This includes negotiations with partner organizations. The role directs marketing team members by organizing responsibilities, setting objectives, and managing progress.

The position works closely with the business leader and is involved in business decision-making. In the future, the person may take responsibility for marketing leadership, including oversight of the profit and loss statement. The listed work location is in Minato, Tokyo.
